ERIE, CO – Due to the recent mid-week snowstorm (October 28 th & 29 th ), and based on today's evaluation from inspectors and contractors, the capital improvement projects currently under construction at Erie Municipal Airport have been delayed.  Specifically, the construction materials could not be removed and contractors were unable to grade the safety areas due to excessive moisture.   In order to complete these projects in a safe and efficient manner, Runway 15/33 will remain temporarily closed.  Please note the following closures:

Runway 15/33 will be temporarily closed for construction between Monday, November 2 nd and Friday, November 6 th , 2009.

Runway 15/33 will reopen on Friday, November 6 th , 2009 at 7:00 pm – weather permitting.
